momentoprint is encouraging all our customers to help us, help all of us, by reducing the amount of packaging and bags we use when packing and delivering our print and copying orders.

We also ask customers to accept recycled paper bags and boxes for small projects . . . or if a plastic carrier bag is necessary . . . the 5p cost of these will be donated to Action For Kids the local childen’s charity which we have been supporting for many years.

All of our paper is supplied by mills with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)** accreditation.

And we also stock, and sell, 100%-post-consumer recycled A4 copy paper.

All of our paper is supplied by mills sourcing only from European Forests.

The timber used in the manufacture of our paper and board is certified to a sustainable forestry management system in all our stocks. This means the timber is harvested as a crop and is managed by specific replanting programmes which absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere. This replanting and re-forestation exceeds the quantity of felled trees.

Paper facts

Paper is based on wood, a natural and renewable material. As young trees grow they absorb CO2 from the atmosphere. Further, as a wood product, paper also continues to store carbon throughout its lifetime.

Well-maintained commercial forests act as a carbon-sink to help mitigate the effects of climate change and provide renewable resources.

Our mills source raw material from sustainably-managed forests with legal logging operations, replanting all harvested areas and upholding natural biodiversity.

European forests are growing at the rate of four times the size of Greater London every year and by an area the size of Switzerland in just 10 years.

The Forestry Industry is the EU’s biggest producer of renewable energy.
